SipRadar

SIP / VoIP security ยท product initiative, not a live global edge network

SipRadar is a product direction I am building for teams that operate SIP and VoIP infrastructure and need better visibility into signaling abuse, routing anomalies, and fraud patterns. Nothing on this page claims a finished global edge deployment or full production coverage.

Problem

Voice platforms see scanning, toll fraud, unauthorized routing attempts, and subtle signaling loops that traditional perimeter firewalls miss because they do not speak SIP semantics.

Target users

VoIP providers, CPaaS teams, and internal platform engineers responsible for OpenSIPS or similar proxy layers, customer trunks, and incident response when fraud spikes.

Planned architecture

  • Edge-oriented capture of signaling metadata (not a claim of active multi-POP production today).
  • Policy hooks to flag unusual registration or call setup patterns.
  • Integration points with existing proxy and billing systems rather than rip-and-replace appliances.
  • Operator dashboards with auditable actions, aligned with how NOC teams work.

What I am building now

Core detection concepts, data models for signaling events, and prototype control flows. I evaluate stacks such as OpenSIPS-adjacent tooling and iVozProvider-class platforms as integration contexts, without stating SipRadar already protects live carrier traffic worldwide.

Next steps

Validate detection rules with sanitized lab traffic, harden multi-tenant reporting, and publish partner-ready documentation only when features are demonstrably ready.
